New Heights in the New Season
There are times that we experience low points in our lives. We may face some challenges and experience the rough seasons. As we have stepped into the beginning of new height, we have been challenged to grow in the situation where the circumstance itself is not as perfect as we have expected.
God wants to bring us to a new level of relationship with him regardless of the different seasons in our lives, as written in Isaiah 41:18 which talk about God’s providence in the midst of the valleys, wilderness and dry land.
Fountains in the Valley (Isaiah 41:18)
“I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys…”
This season we are reminded by God’s promises of peace in our life. Valley illustrates constant struggle, the lowest point of our lives, and place of sufferings. We, as a human, tend to strive to be at the top of the summit and achieve our own definition of success. However, valley is not always the place of defeat that bury us. God, who is the well of living water and salvation, is more than able to create springs in those valleys. It is a place where we learn to depend on God, to put our faith in Him, experience His blessings, and be fruitful.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
God will provide comforts to supply our needs and answer all prayers in His perfect timing. These blessings are kept for those who long for Divine enlightening, intimate relationship with Him, and experience Him personally.
“For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.”
In God alone we can find the fountain of life. He is the one that will carry us through our struggle, problems, and misery and reach new heights in our life. As we walk closely with Him, whichever valley or situation we are in, we will bear fruits, become blessings to others, and bring glory unto His name, who makes all things possible (Mark 10:27).
