“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate” (Proverbs 31:31 NIV).
The May’s second service was nothing ordinary as we all know it was mother’s day! There was only 9am service and followed by lunch fellowship. Before the sermon, the ladies (young and elderly), already prepared some performance to entertain all of us with their sing and dance ability.
Before checking out at how much fun we had during the fellowship, let’s take a look at the summary of the sermon, shall we? We were blessed to have Ps Deddy Goadys who came all the way from Indonesia. He shared about 4 keys of breakthrough.
- Do not give up in the middle of situation
- Look for opportunities
- Believe that God can do all things
- Be honest!
Alright, fun part: let’s take a look at the lunch fellowship
Mothers may be known with their exceptional cooking ability, but why don’t we take turn? The lunch fellowship was prepared and served by BBIC’s lovely gentlemen. They took Japanese theme for their food like any variant of curry, miso soup including vegetarian and dessert for sure like cheesecake and other japanese dessert. And all the food prepared by the boys are form of their appreciation for all the ladies that has given their best for our church.
